Due to this substantial investment, we have updated our uniform policy to ensure proper care and maintenance…for years to come!
SLAM Seasonal Uniform Responsibility and Return Policy
- Policy Statement:SLAM requires all registered participants (registrants) to be responsible for the pick-up and timely return of their assigned season uniform. Failure to return the uniform by the designated deadline will result in a non-negotiable administrative fee.
- Purpose:This policy ensures the efficient management of club-issued uniforms, promotes accountability among registrants, and covers the costs associated with unreturned or late uniforms.
- Scope:This policy applies to all individuals registering for SLAM programs requiring a season uniform.
- Procedures:
**4.1. Uniform Pick-Up:**
- Registrants are responsible for collecting their assigned season uniform during the designated pick-up times and dates communicated by SLAM.
- SLAM will provide advance notice of pick-up schedules via email, website and team app
- It is the registrant's responsibility to ensure they receive the correct uniform size and components. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately at the time of pick-up.
**4.2. Uniform Use and Care:**
- Registrants are expected to use the uniform responsibly throughout the season and maintain it in good condition, following any provided care instructions.
**4.3. Uniform Return:**
- At the conclusion of the season, registrants are solely responsible for returning the complete season uniform.
- SLAM will communicate specific return dates, times, and locations. Registrants must adhere to these designated drop-off periods.
- The uniform must be returned in a clean and acceptable condition, as per club guidelines (e.g., washed, dry, free of damage beyond normal wear and tear and placed in a Ziploc bag with the number and size *only* for the respective uniform).
**4.4. Consequences of Non-Return:**
- **Acknowledgement:** By registering and accepting the season uniform, registrants acknowledge and accept that they are responsible for its return.
- **Late/Non-Return Fee:** If the complete season uniform is not returned by the specified deadline of **April 30th, 2027 **, the registrant's account will be automatically charged a one-time administrative fee of **$75.00**.
- **Billing:** This fee will be billed to the primary credit card on file for the registrant's account. Registrants are responsible for ensuring their payment information is current.
- **Exceptions:** No exceptions will be made for late returns unless explicitly communicated and approved in writing by SLAM’s Club Manager or Equipment Coordinator, prior to the deadline.
